Description
Opamp based series regulator is a classic connection of OPAMP error amplifier with dicrete surroundings. Topology known from famous regulators: ALWSR, Walt Jung regulator, TT Feeder. As series regulator has high current cabability limited only by output transistor parameters.
Opamp based series regulator main parameters:
- available in two versions: 3V3 and 5V
- max. current capability: 500mA
- low noise
- dropout: min. 2V
- up to 1W power dissipation when heatsink is used
Suits ideally in digital and analog power supplies. Our clients are using this regulator to supply digital filters, DAC converters and S/PDIF receivers.
