Regulator module with TPS7A4700 LDO

Description

Regulator module based on one of the best chip from Texas Instruments – TPS7A4700. Extremely low noise – only 4uVrms!

Main features of TPS7A4700 LDO:

• voltage regulation 1.4V-20.5V using easy to use jumpers
• current capability of up to 1A
• low noise 4uVrms
• dropout 300mV at 1A
• PSRR even 82dB

All coresponding components are best in their classes – NP0 capacitors, MiniMELF resistors, polymer KO-CAP capacitors.

TPS7A4700 is placed on easy to use module so you can enjoy its good parameters in your circuit without carrying of how to solder it.

Output voltage selection is done using 8pcs of jumpers. This jumpers are done in the way you should use solder to connect both sides. Initial voltage, without any jumpers soldered is 1.4V. By soldering jumpers you can add additional voltage to initial one in few steps.

From the left there are following steps: 0.1V; 0.2V; 0.4V; 0.8V; 1.6V; 3.2V; 6.4V; 6.4V.

Example 1:  3V3 = 1.4V+1.6V+0.2V+0.1V – 3 jumpers soldered

Example 2: 5V = 1.4V+3.2V+0.4V – 2 jumpers soldered
